The worst thing about fibromyaliga is not the pain, the debilitating fatigue or the inability to concentrate for very long. All of those things are unpleasant and negatively affect quality of life, but the worst thing, or so it seems to me right now, is just how dull life with fibro often is.

Sometimes I feel like the last 7 years have been spent in limbo, waiting for God to break in. I thought that, perhaps, he had done earlier this year, but very little has actually changed. I’m still waiting, hoping and expecting.

Would really appreciate prayer from those who are so inclined. The last couple of days I have felt as bad as I ever did during the worst of my Fibromyalgia. I am really hoping this is not a relapse - I was just starting to get on with my life again! Either way, though, I know God is good and only has good for me and my family.

Bats
I put a bat box up in our garden in the hopes of attracting some bats. The good news if that we seem to have some bats. The bad news is that they may not be in the box, but in a hole in our roof that urgently needs repair. If that’s the case then I’m not sure we’ll be allowed to repair it…

How can one trust a healing if, a couple of months after the “healing” you experience a full relapse? I don’t know the answer to that - but this is still all true: http://www.redfruit.co.uk/2010/04/dont-waste-your-fibromyalgia/
It’s interesting to me that reformed seems to have become synonymous with Calvinist. Obviously the sovereignty of God is a key part of reformed doctrine, but I always thought that justification (and sanctification) by faith alone was the reformed “thing”.
These days it is, thankfully, quite rare to have a bad pain day. Unfortunately, they do occasionally still happen and today is such a day. K & the girls are out all day and I’m trying to have a “retreat”, but the codeine is making it much harder. Thankfully, meeting with God does not depend on how sharp I’m feeling!

Health Update Day #5
I still seem to be doing really well. Every day that passes makes it more likely that this is a permanent healing.
Initially it seemed like yesterday was a bit of a step backwards, but I think it was just the result of a couple of bad nights due to a crying baby.
Despite yesterday I don’t seem to have paid at all for Sunday’s activities - which is quite a significant indicator to my...
Health Update Day #2
I have now had 2 very good days after being prayed for on Friday evening. Today I went to the entire church meeting, visited some friends with their new baby, went out to dinner with my family & mowed the lawn.
Before Friday it would only have been possible to do one of those things without experiencing significant problems.
The next few days are now quite key. If, as I believe, God has...
It’s too early to say with any certainty what happened when I was prayed for at #release2010 last night, but something seems to be different. I’m certain that I’m not completely healed because I’m still experiencing some pain. However today is the best day I’ve had for a very long time - possibly years. The pain is still there but is significantly reduced....
